Emboli, Blood Clots, DVTs, and Bartonella

I have noticed that in my Bartonella, Babesia, and Lyme disease practice, there are a large number of cases with calf venous clots. These can be released and travel to the lungs or other vulnerable areas of your body. (1)

In 2024, Boodman reported that 25.7% of 167 cases were associated with embolization, most commonly to the spleen and brain. (2)
