Artemisinin is a fine treatment for “sensitive people.” Or those with allergies to over seven things, or people with mast cell activation syndrome that is not controlled. My gentle appeal is I doubt any dose is curative,
Artesunate is quite strong. And is 1000 usd for 100 mg which given IV will kill brian malaria. 100 mg will not cure Babesia. People have ways of getting 200 mg tablets or other sizes made in india. Some friends I treasure use 100 mg IV a week of artesunate. I think they get high drug peaks, but we try to use it every day orally. Why? We worry about vein health. And we have no solid opinion on pulsing artesunate, so we use it daily unless of discomfort with a recent dose increase.
Much to my surprise, in Artesunate dosing, if you are going up from 25 mg, to 50 mg, to 100 mg, 150 mg and 200 mg, and you suddenly feel more ill, you might have just been diagnosed with babesia or malaria depending on your country. This is very rare in the treatments I use and might help you.
