Years ago I wrote a checklist book for the signs and symptoms of Lyme disease, Bartonella and Babesia. The problem is they are all profoundly dispersed in blood or tissue. So they can have hundreds of symptoms or signs.
But here are some sample Lyme symptoms:
Tick Exposure--have your pets had ticks on them? Have neighbors, parents, siblings or you had tick bites?
Excessive fatigue
New psychiatric symptoms
Bulls-Eye rash-rare but a strong sign of Lyme. The perfect bulls-eye is not routine. Or if a rash is present it does not always fit the image in books.
Brain fog–it becomes much harder to think and recall things. We have a Cognition Scale that will quickly show you and your doctor your thinking status. We suspect these troubles are from Lyme in the brain and inflammatory chemicals.
Poor Coordination–I wrote two books on the 200 medical reasons you can fail a DUI Balance test. Lyme definitely can make a tight heel to toe line walking-impossible. And lifting your leg in front of you can also be impossible.
Joint Pain – The CDC said 25% of untreated Lyme disease can result in arthritis. We see more pain than literal arthritis.
Muscle pain-Lyme corkscrew bacteria drill into tissue.
Headache
Skin Tingling, Numbness or Burning Pain
Shooting pain
Sleep changes–hard to sleep or sleep hunger after 8-9 hours sleep.
Swelling in joint(s)
Flu-like feelings
Sensitivity to Light or Sound
Dizziness/POTS–stand up and very light headed
Shortness of Breath
Trouble Getting a Deep Breathe
Bell’s palsy–the face has some muscles paralysed so there is a droop. Many types of herpes viruses can also cause.
Heart Issues–low or high or irregular beat.
Intestinal Symptoms–biopsies looking at RNA found Lyme (and two species of Bartonella) in the stomach, small intestines and colon. Also mast cells carrying 1000 poisons to kill all possible infections, can become wildly reactive in the GI tract. Great GI physicians do not think of Lyme or mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) because it is not taught.
No Diagnosis or Cure–to be a physician you are looking at 13 years of brutal training and then decades of experience after that. What do smart top doctors not know? I received 30 seconds on Lyme disease in medical school. Emerging infections like Lyme disease (Bartonella and Babesia) receive 75 seconds in 13 years of training and nothing after you complete your residency and fellowship.
Has the Diagnosing Doctor had it, or her family, or many patients? They know what they see. They do not speak Chinese or Farci, so the entire tick and flea infection area is utterly unknown to them.
This is not a complete list but see it as a starting point.
