Many years ago, we found that human use of these three volatile oils, in a double enteric empty capsule, was effective at killing Bartonella and its biofilm. Our early advanced human experience showed three oils were very good against Bartonella and Lyme (esp. its biofilm) are:
*CINNAMOL
*OREGANOL
*CLOVANOL
(Maker: North American Herb and Spice—no relation)

Y. Zhang added some other oils that in a test tube showed benefits. He writes:
13 [essential oils showed effectiveness against Bartonella] with “active hits.”
THEY WERE
Oregano
Cinnamon bark and leaf
Mountain savory (winter)
Geranium
Clove bud
Allspice
Ylang-ylang
Citronella…
Some are hard to get, and some may be weaker than other options. He found low doses were effective.
Each gender has many pints of blood. The woman has 9 pints, and the man has 12 pints. The tubing in the body is 60,000 miles. So, we prefer some of these motivated options:
- Start low but end at high dosing divided among meals. Loose stool with a dose increase and no other change might mean the concentration is getting too high for the intestinal wall. We rarely see this problem. (Nature’s Way Slippery Elm and Marshmallow Root are low cost and very protective of the intestine wall. If you use more than one).
 - If your essential oil does not annoy the mouth wet membrane it will not do what a volatile form can do. Unsure? Stick with a pin and put a drop on the tongue. Does it burn? Annoying five seconds or a minute? We like a slight burn of 4-10 seconds. These are not play medicine and are very potent so after double enteric clear capsules (Amazon), dilute with food. Consider drinks besides water that may coat the stomach and small intestines. Many options exist to make it comfortable.
 - Do not use visualized biofilm images to determine effectiveness of an oil against the infections Bartonella, Lyme or TBRF, and their biofilms. We need much more research to confirm the report of visualized biofilms.
 - These essential oils are very different. They may all annoy the tongue for eight seconds, but the active chemicals vary, and examples are outside our scope.
 - Like all strong medications, these have possible side effects. Lavender can affect male fertility but is seen as profoundly safe. Textbooks exist listing safety, toxic issues, dose, etc. But few healthcare providers read medical books on things they treat outside some foundational lectures. They are simply busy.
 - Y. Zhang mentions future animal models, and he would do them well, but we feel our years of human use helps our use. We are not seeing problems in our use of these oils in 20 respected human labs to detect harm.
