Your Doctor Only Tested for Lyme Disease. And Nothing Else? Huh?

Eisen’s research noted pathogens other than Lyme in ticks in the USA.

In the United States, the blacklegged tick, Ixodes scapularis, is a vector of seven human pathogens, including those causing:

  • Lyme disease
  • Anaplasmosis
  • Babesiosis
  • Borrelia miyamotoi disease
  • Powassan virus disease
  • Ehrlichiosis
  • (Bartonella?)

In my definitive textbook, The Diagnosis and Treatment of Bartonella, Bartonella has 12 insect carriers and roughly infects about 20% of humans. I would add that one.
