Years ago, when I was obviously not sober, I was working on a book just on Fatigue. My crude guess is that when I reached 200–250 causes, I realized this was going nowhere and stopped.
Understand, all these thousands of hours of research did show me all those causes. They were never in 20 books or 200 journal articles, and yet we do find some of these routinely.
We strongly agree with CFS experts, Mayo, and others that the cause is unknown. Although at times we do find a cause. Why?
Because this week I will help 15-20 people and research for 40+ hours on hard-to-find causes, while wonderful docs help 50 people with things like CFS.
Different callings and both are needed.
