I wanted to follow up on a comment made last year about advertising groups.
Why?
Because I keep getting people from far distances who have been to some infectious disease specialties or those “treating Lyme.”
In my career, traditional Lyme approaches were 45 seconds in the 1980s. With 30 seconds on Bartonella, which is carried by 12 biting insects, not merely ticks.
When my entire family and I were severely ill with 4-5 tick infections, which is the norm, despite the idea that ticks are bleached inside with a tiny tube of only Lyme. We went the routine route, and the kind, untrained doctors could not help us. Of course not.
A doctor only learns this if their family, many patients, or they have these infections. Just like my only friends learning Japanese are going to Japan or living there now.
GROUP ADVERTISING — they are free to do this. I just want it to be clear: giving 2-4 weeks of doxycycline is not treating “Lyme.” And these “experts” only think of the active form. Oh, you never heard there are other forms? The ones doxycycline does not kill. Neither did they.
- Health.usnews.com — over 40 Lyme doctors in my town.
- Healthgrades — 110 treat Lyme in my town.
- Zocdoc — one local doctor treats Lyme on the keyword search, but nothing is listed on their site while mentioning a large number of conditions.
- MayoClinic.org — showed that Neurology treats Lyme. No one in my state. No one that lists this as among the many infections they treat.
Conclusion
Everyone is a Lyme expert.

Experts are quite rare. And does this expert publish on Lyme? Or publish on other important infections in ticks and biting insects?
Bartonella, with 23 species, and from world literature, is likely 20% of the planet.
Babesia is a single-celled parasite inside red blood cells. Much harder to kill than malaria, with an uncertain death rate.
Anaplasma and Ehrlichia — both white blood cell infections.
Etc., etc…..
