The Nonsense You Should Hurt To Be Cured.
In 2006, in the best Babesia book ever written, we mentioned tafenoquine. We are glad it is being used.
The malaria dose is about 200 mg for three days. Since when do malaria and Babesia dosses match? Never.
Starting with 200 mg a day of Tafenoquine (Arakoda) assumes that it is a trivial baby dose. Wrong.
Babesia can react to 200 mg in 48 hours. You do not tell the body the dose, nor the strain. You listen to each for a day, one test dose.
It is best, if you are not dying this week, to start with 1/4 to a half every day until you feel it or you are at 500 mg/week. If you are sensitive to 3-4 unique drug classes or 3-4 types of food. You are highly reactive, so low and slow, but you will not be on a useless dose.
Goal: The Dose Should Feel Invisible. But Just Below The Misery Dose.
250 mg makes you uncomfortable; that means 200 mg is working very well.
A FALSE LINE: “YOU HAVE TO SUFFER TO LET THE TREATMENT WORK.” AN UNWISE BEGINNER.
Share: Few Lyme or Babesia doctors practice this.
