If you look at this sample patient, some diagnoses she has been given are:
- Psychotic
- Attention seekers
- Resentment: “I cannot help you.”
- See a psychiatrist.
- Are you picking these things all over your body? Including the distant part of your back.
- “You have delusions of parasites”–the CDC said that.

Every patient I have seen may have benefited from psychiatric medication, but all had multiple medical problems missed by simplistic seven-lab panels.
This approach guarantees that emerging illnesses new to doctors who read an hour every couple weeks, and rarely read on emerging stealth infections or novel medical illness will be missed almost entirely.
