CARING FOR THE “SENSITIVE PATIENT.”
85% of my patients are sensitive and do not fit the simplistic fundamentals presented in any book or by any group. Indeed, most of my patients have seen by one to four “trained” smart Lyme-literate physicians (LL MDs). The good part is that young doctor STARTERS usually get one or more emerging infection positives. Excellent.
1. Treating these sensitive or very allergic people should begin with ONE herb. We all know multiple herbs have useful synergistic effects, but why expose sensitive patients to 10 killing chemicals when one herb contains only 2 aggressive chemicals?
2. Start at least 1/5th the suggested starting dose. If a tincture recommends starting with 50 drops, your first dose should be 5-10 drops. I would do 5 drops and try five more 10+ hours later.
“Capsule worries” is the fear of cutting a capsule. If you cut off one-quarter instead of starting with a whole capsule, I swear life on Earth will probably continue. And 1/2 capsule may be too high for your first week, or even month.
We discuss this further in my updated book on herbs and essential oils for killing Bartonella and its co-infections Lyme and Babesia. I have seven books on the later single-celled parasite. (Other good books have pages or a chapter).
