Melanotan II has five melanocortin receptor subtypes (MC-R) which reveal different biological functions based on localization [9].
In the skin and adrenal cortex, MC1-R and MC2-R are melanocytic and adrenocortical receptors [10–13].

CONCLUSION
Melanotan 2 can increase erections.
But due to its large and diffuse body actions should be used in nations allowing it, used only by Peptide Certified doctors and used at very low starting doses. Cases discussing potential risks exist outside this terse summary.
