1. 90 seconds of education in medical school and residency with minutes to mere hours in class learning this super specialization.
2. Board prep training has minutes to pass infection boards. CME classes merely on Lyme may give you a magical view of competence. “Abracadabra” and POOF you have spent over 20 years and 2000 hours learning.
3. Use of one of many guidelines means you are not spending time learning, and this is like a speech handed to you to memorize.
4. A starter is no finisher. Knowing lab companies that are not profoundly outdated and merely looking for 1-2 species is 80’s/early 90’s science. If your MD, DO, NP, PA uses research oriented labs you might get 1-2 things positive. Great.
5. But novices and many veterans do not know you should kill the insect bite infections before testing. Why? Many have fantastic stealth. I do not always wait to do this myself because people are so sick. But I do not assume I caught 100%.
6. They use their gizzard to use your signs and symptoms to “clinically” diagnose you without top lab testing. The Florida Medical Board in the past has a name for this: TERMINATED LICENSE. Good luck after 20 plus years of hell and immense education practice costs. Maybe you could be a Baker, Electrician, or Automechanic. Bye.
7. Ignorance on the multiple forms of Lyme that are killed differently. Doxycycline and amoxicillin or Augmentin do not kill nut, frozen and strong slime coated biofilm forms. It is stunning to see how many doctors on massive Medifind, Healthgrades or WedMD lists are listed as “experts” all near your house. You cannot even get 20 plumbers, roofers, electricians or cardiac pediatricians near your house!
Notice the cardiac pediatricians on the list…. Never think of Lyme disease like ringworm–think of it as a doctor with full training in pediatrics, NICU tiny baby medicine, cardiac surgery, and fetal cardiac surgery training. The point? Few physicians can do major heart repair on a seven month fetus. Such experts are very rare.
THE IDEA ELITE LYME DOCTORS ARE AS MANY AS 20 WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE IS A MARKETING SCAM. Years ago, for some reason I joined a respected company to promote skills I had many textbooks on. But 90% of the time the “experts” who came up were pain doctors and anesthesiologists. I still see in most major areas experts in Lyme who know more about broccoli. I left that marketing organization.
8. THEY ARE ILLITERATE ABOUT BABESIA AND BIOFILMS.
BABESIA: They think Babesia competence is just a couple hours of lecture or a 150 word book summary on treatments I proved failed in 2006, 2007, 2007, 2009, etc, work.
BIOFILMS: They are seduced into strongly advocating the use of hypermarketting “celebrity-type” rockstar biofilm treatments that show they have never read my Biofilms 2014 book, or much research since. We researched 60 hours this month alone on new biofilm destroyers. Humbling. Fascinating.

9. Bartonella is vastly more common than Lyme disease. It is not a coinfection. We were publishing top material in 2007 and an initial hypothesis book 2008, and now suddenly after twenty years there is more attention.
Bartonella is in 17–39% of the world using fair testing looking for 1-2 species. There are 23 human species.
