Ticks can be treated many ways. This medication appears to help tough ticks and apparently does not seem to increase prolactin. Of course, I would test the prolactin level in any patient on the medication. Prolactin increases breast size and may hurt bones over time. It is a common problem in drugs of this class -- the antipsychotics.
