A Harvard Neurologist Told Me Aspartame is "Fully Safe." Really?

Aspartame has been found to cause convulsions. and breaks down in the body into a deadly toxin called DKP. Aspartame it stunningly the most toxic agent at decimating fire ants--gasoline and deadly pesticides are not as effective. It also makes freakish genetics in some animals. Those that are impressed by IVY, do not know the IVY league. As a trend they are utterly political and experts at wasting time. It seems to promote cancer.

These results suggest that aspartame and saccharin could be toxic to the human circulation system as well as embryonic development via impairment of lipoprotein function.

...indicating the aspartame is harmful at cellular level. It is clear that long term aspartame exposure could alter the brain antioxidant status, and can induce apoptotic changes in brain.

The carcinogenic effects of aspartame: The urgent need for regulatory re-evaluation.

Aspartame (APM) is an artificial sweetener used since the 1980s, now present in >6,000 products, including over 500 pharmaceuticals. Since its discovery in 1965, with first approval by the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) in 1981

On the basis of the evidence of the potential carcinogenic effects of APM herein reported, a re-evaluation of the current position of international regulatory agencies must be considered an urgent matter of public health.

These results indicate that aspartame induces apoptosis mainly via mitochondrial pathway involved in apoptosis due to oxygen toxicity.

In conclusion, the consumption of aspartame leads to histopathological lesions in the liver and alterations of the genetic system in the liver and bone marrow of mother albino rats and their offspring. These toxicological changes were directly proportional to the duration of its administration.
